As a member of the STEM-Health Sciences team, the STEM Librarian:
- provides expert research consultation and support as liaison to assigned departments
- collaborates with colleagues and disciplinary faculty to develop, promote, and provide information literacy instruction and initiatives
- teaches multiple sections of interprofessional undergraduate information literacy courses
- develops learning activities, assessments, and online learning tools
- participates in the development of the library’s collections and web presence
- supports Duquesne University’s mission, and meets library standards for fulfillment of professional responsibilities, scholarship, and service
- meets the criteria for the library faculty promotion process at the level of Librarian II within three years of appointment
