The deadline for the Medical Library Association's Garfield Research Fellowship is just over two weeks away! This $5,000 award goes to supporting research in the history of information science in the medical or health sciences. It will be used to increase the underlying knowledgebase in this area and enhance the current and future practice of the information professions, particularly health sciences librarianship. The funding from this award may be disbursed over a period of up to 2 years and research can also lead to a publishable manuscript.
Applications are due December 1 and applicants must be a member of MLA. More information can be found on MLA's website.
